Dr. Corina Going was born in Switzerland, grew up on Cape Cod, and came to the Seattle area in 1992 to attend Naturopathic Medical School. She obtained her B.A. in Zoology from the University of Maine in 1981 and then worked variously as a Certified Nurses Aide, Certified Cardiac Technician in a hospital setting,and then as a Medical Assistant in a cardiology practice. She then became interested in alternative medicines and more holistic ways of helping people to heal while working as a manager at a health food store.

Dr. Going attended Bastyr University in Seattle, graduating in 1996. She has been in practice since then, opening a private practice in Everett, WA in 1996 and also completing a 2-year residency at Community Health Centers of King County from 1996-1998. She moved to Tacoma in 1999 and opened her current practice in Lakewood in 2000.

Dr. Going is a licensed primary care physician in Washington state. Her philosophy of practice includes treating the whole person, rather than just treating a single sympton or condition. This includes uncovering the cause of the imbalance in the body and helping each person understand how to regain health and wellbeing.

Her passion is using homeopathic medicine to assist people to return to balance and health. Homeopathy is a medicine that treats deeply, gently, and thoroughly, helping someone to heal physically, mentally, and emotionally. It is used to treat a wide variety of conditions.

She also is skilled in utilizing botanical medicines, nutritional supplements, and diet and lifestyle counseling.

She is married and she and her husband share their home with two cats and a dog. She enjoys hiking, bird-watching, gardening, cooking, and reading. She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and the National Center for Homeopathy. She currently studies with master homeopath Henny Heudens-Mast in Belgium.
